Karine Fréchette completed her MFA in drawing and painting at Concordia University (2016), previously she earned a BFA in Visual and Media Arts at Université de Québec à Montréal (2009). Her paintings have been exhibited at Galerie B-312, Stewart Hall Art Gallery, and at the Maison de la Culture in Gatineau. During the course of her studies, in 2014, Fréchette was awarded the Hélène Couture Award for Excellence in Painting and Drawing. That same year she became a finalist in the national RBC Painting Competition. Born in Québec, Karine Fréchette now lives and works in Montreal.
